Alex Murania grew up in Valencia before joining Met Oval in 2021, starting with the U15 Tier 2 group. Through exceptional work ethic and rapid development, he rose through the pathway—first competing for an MLS NEXT U17 spot, then pushing for the Tier 1 starting role at U19. His progression earned him a commitment to Marist College, where he made his college debut in 2025.
Standing 6’5″, Alex brings impressive size and a commanding presence to the position. He is a reliable shot-stopper, strong on high balls, and plays with confidence in possession. His precise short and long distribution makes him a well-rounded modern goalkeeper with significant potential.
